Objectives of the Deal Desk

A major aim of the Deal Desk is to foster relationships between African countries brought together with a common goal of elevating the aviation industry in Africa. It will establish the creation of relevant business deals and partnerships and serve as the driving force connecting aircraft manufacturers to the African market. With the limited access to funding from financial institutions aviation businesses require a considerable amount of financial injection to help expand and grow this private sector led industry.

The Deal Desk will also capitalize on the immense potential present in the industry to push for growth and proper expansion objectives that will drive trade and investments and bring us steps closer to achieving our desired economic and commercial goals in Africa. Through the Deal Desk, government agencies and key players in the industry can engage in productive conversations on policy regulations, standardizing to match up to our counterparts and having the necessary skillset in the industry, among others.
