Award Categories
This category will award individuals who have defied every odd in the aviation business and have made their mark through active presence and foremost contributions. Awards in this category will be presented to individuals who have strived hard to propel positive developments and initiatives that have changed the aviation industry.
This award recognises the outstanding inflight service experience with an African Airline. Judges are looking for the best inflight experience, ranging from catering, amenities, technology/entertainment and onboard customer service best demonstrate the African spirit of hospitality and excellence in the past 12 months.
Recognising Pilots of African Descent and working with Africa based operators who have continued to conquer the skies and demonstrated versatility through their type ratings and also racked up the highest number of hours in the period of review.
Honouring the most exceptional Business Aviation Operator of the year, this award is open to any business aviation operator (must be an Africa AOC holder) who operate services into/out of/within the continent.
Key factors taken into consideration will be operational efficiency and service excellence across a range of areas including aircraft management, charter, sales, crew management and customer experience.
Honouring the exceptional Airline Operator of the year, this award is open to any commercial aviation operator (must be an Africa AOC holder) who operate services into/out of/within the continent.
Key factors taken into consideration will be operational efficiency and service excellence across a range of areas including aircraft management, charter, sales, crew management and customer experience.
This is awarded to the aviation executive who has demonstrated great individual influence on the aviation industry, showcasing outstanding strategic thinking and innovative direction for the growth of their business and the industry.
This award recognizes the African Civil Aviation Agency that has been able to regulate but also encourage the development, standardization and ease of aviation in their jurisdiction through.
This award is open to any aviation entity on the African Continent or a company with a significant business presence on the continent whose activities have a direct impact on Africa related operations, services and the economy. In the last 12 months, must have developed or implemented an innovative approach, product or service which has provided either significant: cost, safety, business productivity, technological, environmental or customer benefits. The main point to drive home is how the innovation provided a working solution in the Aviation industry.
This award goes to the FBO operator that has provided the most exceptional service, outstanding facilities and overall operational excellence.
This award recognises the young aviator who has demonstrated exceptional commitment towards building a successful career in aviation. It considers the activities, strategies and actions to create a point of difference to positively contribute to the development of their specific industry discipline and has demonstrated the potential for rapid career progression.
This award recognises exceptional dedication, efficiency and service excellence in the ground support services sector.
This award will recognise an exceptional effort and innovation in sustainability for the aviation industry in Africa.
This award seeks to recognise the MRO service provider that has consistently delivered the highest level of service and reliability in this vital industry to clients over the past year.
This Awards honours the most outstanding Airport Operator of the year. Judges will consider customer experience, operational efficiency, safety, innovation, revenue growth as well as passenger and cargo growth.
From emergency medical services to offshore operations, law enforcement, and executive shuttle services, this category celebrates operators that push boundaries, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable helicopter services.
Nomination Process
Nominations can come from institutions and individuals for nominees based and operating in Africa for any of the relevant categories. PR companies and third parties may nominate as long as they have sought the permission their nominees. For multiple nominations, institutions can submit separate entries for each category.
