The organizers of Nigeria’s inaugural airshow have announced the successful completion of the landmark aviation event held on 2-4 December 2025, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s aviation history.

Organized by the Nigeria International Airshow team, the event took place in FCT, Abuja and brought together aviation stakeholders, industry professionals, exhibitors, government agencies and aviation enthusiasts from across Nigeria and beyond. The airshow was designed to serve as a strategic platform for showcasing aviation capabilities, fostering industry collaboration and promoting aerospace development within Africa.

The inaugural edition featured live aircraft displays, static exhibitions, professional engagements and networking sessions aimed at strengthening partnerships across the aviation value chain. Exhibitors and participants highlighted the event as a timely initiative that created opportunities for knowledge exchange, innovation and business growth within Africa’s evolving aviation ecosystem.

According to the organizing committee, the successful execution of the airshow was the result of months of planning, coordination and collaboration with regulatory authorities, sponsors, technical partners and volunteers. The organizers emphasized that safety, professionalism and international best practices were central to the planning and delivery of the event.

Beyond the displays, the airshow provided a platform for constructive dialogue among policymakers, industry leaders and emerging aviation talents, reinforcing its role as more than a spectator event, but a catalyst for long-term sector development.

Following the success of the inaugural edition, the Nigeria International Airshow organizer has reaffirmed its commitment to hosting future editions of the airshow, with plans to expand participation, attract international exhibitors and deepen industry impact, with the next edition scheduled to take place in November/December 2027.
